My dream!（私の夢）

My dream is to travel around the world. Recently, I've been watching videos on YouTube to gain knowledge about foreign countries. There are many different cultures and people in the world. The world is such a big place, living in Japan can make me lose a lot of opportunities so I would like to explore the world in the future. I would like to continue my English conversation so that one day I can communicate with people from all over the world.

私の夢は世界中を旅行することです。最近はユーチューブを見て、海外についての知識を身に着けています。世界にはいろいろな文化があり、いろいろな人がいます。世界はこんなに広いのに、日本だけに住み続けることは損だと思います。英会話を続けて、いつか世界中の人とコミュニケーションととれるように頑張りたいと思います。

Eating out with colleague（同僚と外食に行った）

I went out to dinner with my colleague after a long time. I have been working from home due to the coronavirus, so I haven't been able to see my colleague lately. We talked endlessly and were happy. I hope that the coronavirus will settle down soon and we can meet without masks.

久しぶりに同僚とご飯に行きました。コロナウイルスの影響で在宅勤務となっているため、最近は同僚と会えていませんでした。話が尽きず幸せでした。はやくコロナウイルスが落ち着いて、皆さんとマスクを外して会えることができるよう願っています。

Express your gratitude（感謝します）

My immediate supervisor has decided to quit his job. I was very surprised at the suddenness of the situation. I am very sorrowful because he has been a great help to me since I joined the company. Also, I will be taking over his work, which means I will have more work to do. I would like to express my gratitude to him before he leaves.

直属の上司が仕事を辞めることになりました。突然のことに大変驚きました。入社当時から大変お世話になっていたので、とても悲しいです。また、仕事を引き継ぐのでこれからさらに仕事が増えそうです。退職されるまえに今までの感謝を伝えたいと思います。

I went to a batting cage（バッティングセンターに行った）

Today, I went to a Batting cage with my colleagues. Actually, I played baseball for 16 years when I was in school. It's been a long time since I stopped playing baseball, so it was fresh and fun. Afterwards, I ate Indian curry. Foreign cuisine is very appealing, and it made me want to go abroad even more. This made me more motivated to study English. I will start to work tomorrow, but I will do my best to study as well.

今日は同僚と一緒にバッティングセンターに行きました。実は、学生時代に野球を16年間続けていました。野球をやめてから久しぶりに野球をしたので、新鮮で楽しかったです。そのあとはインドカレーを食べました。海外の料理はとても魅力的なので、海外へ行きたい気持ちがさらに強くなりました。そのため、英語の勉強に対するやる気が上がりました。明日から仕事が始まりますが、勉強も頑張ります。

I took a paid leave（有給を取得した）

I took a paid leave. It's going to be a four-day weekend.
Today I studied mainly the basics of grammar because my English grammar is not grammatically correct. I want to be able to speak English fluently and enjoy talking with everyone in the lessons.
Studying is important, but since it's my day off, I'd like to spend more time on my hobbies and rest my body.

今日は有給をとりました。有給をとったことによって四連休になります。
今日は英語の文法が曖昧なので文法の基本を中心に勉強しました。流暢に英語を話して、レッスンで皆さんと楽しく話せるようになりたいです。
勉強も大切ですが、せっかくの休みなので趣味に時間を使ったり、体を休めたいと思います。

I met a friend from college（大学の友達と会った）

Today was a Japanese holiday, so I woke up at six in the morning to study English.
After lunch, I went to Shibuya to meet with my friend from college. I hadn't talked to them in a long time, so it was a lot of fun.
I had eaten a lot of food, so I would like to exercise to burn the calories I got from the food I ate.

今日は休日だったため、朝六時に起きて英語の勉強をしました。
昼からは大学時代の友人に会いに渋谷へに行きました。久しぶりに話をしたので、とても楽しかったです。
たくさん食べてしまったので体重が増えないように運動をしたいと思います。

I made hashed beef（ハッシュドビーフを作った）

Today I made hashed beef with lots of vegetables because my veggies were about to expire. It turned out delicious, but I thought it would be better to eat out.
However, cooking for myself is a great way to save money. It is also good if I'm living alone. I'd like to continue cooking for myself in the future and be able to cook the same way as they do in restaurants.

今日は野菜の賞味期限が切れそうだったので、野菜たっぷりのハッシュドビーフを作りました。美味しく完成しましたが、やっぱり外食が良いなと思いました。
しかし、自炊をするとお金が貯まるので一人暮らしにはとても良いです。これからも自炊を続けて、外食のような料理を作れるようになりたいです。
